News report (Correspondent Guo Huaqiao Li Yingnan) On November 9th-10th, the 2nd Finance and Economics First Class Construction League Conference and High-end Forum was held in Bengbu, Anhui province. As the directorial unit of the first-class discipline development of finance and economics, ZNUEL advocates the implementation of the “data sharing plan for the first-class discipline construction of finance and economics”, and calls on finance and economic colleges to share the rudimentary data of running schools and cooperate in research, grasp the basic strategies of running universities of finance and economics, and consolidate the construction of first-class disciplines of finance and economics. The direction is to promote the development of financial and economic colleges and financial disciplines.
The conference was co-hosted by the Finance and Economics Branch of the China Higher Education Society and the First-class Discipline of Construction Finance and Economics League, and was undertaken by Anhui University of Finance and Economics. More than 90 representatives from more than 30 universities including Zhejiang University, Liaoning University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics attended the event.
On the evening of November 9, the preliminary meeting for the chairman unit was held. At the meeting, Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics and Shandong Industrial and Commercial College were upgraded to vice presidents and related schools to join the league. The participants also discussed the next step in the construction and development of the league; the Secretary General of the League and the Development Planning Department of the University Professor Gao Lihong reported on some of the major tasks carried out by the League in 2018. The preparatory meeting also confirmed that the third session of the League was hosted by Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics.

On 10th November, the 2nd League Conference of Development of First-Class Discipline on Finance and Economics and High-end Forum was officially opened.
