After Parfait and her Africa baby left hospital, teacher Li Yongya and professor Xuvisited them in the International student apartmentfor many times, taking some eggs, milk and some nutriment and developed a deep relationship with African students. On January 5, 2019, in the farewell party of Parfait and her baby, International students of Wuhan alumni association of Congo(Kingshasa) from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central China Normal University and other universities expressed their deep gratitude to this couple, teacher Li and professor Xu for helping Ngabu Serge and Parfait when they were in trouble. They affectionately called teacher Li and professor Xu “Chinese mother, Chinese father”. On the evening of January 7, when teacher Li and professor Xu said goodbye to Parfait again with snacks, they were informed of that Parfait was going to take the bus with bags of luggage to take the train, leaving school for home the next evening. Teacher Li offered to drive them to Wuchang Railway Station, so there was the beginning of the scene. With the infinite care of “Chinese mother and Chinese father”, Parfait and her African baby were now safe back to the Congo (Kinshasa).

The ordinary breeds the great. After hearing about it, her collegues gave a thumbs up. In everyone’s eyes, Li Yongya is a good teacher, a good wife, a good mother and a good colleague. The couple, teacher Li and professor Xu are enthusiastic, diligent and helpful. Helping Parfait and her African baby is just one of the many good deeds they do. Teacher Li thinks that giving a person rose, the hand stays aftertaste! And it is a trivial matter, not worth mentioning. Professor Xu said that in this matter, we were not legally responsible, but as for the moral, we could not wait for death to save.”The librarian said that what teacherLi and professor Xu said was just doing a trivial thing, which tells us what is the great love of loving students as their children and educating people. The power of example is infinite. We need to develop and expand the Chinese spirit, pass on the strong positive energy of true love and kindness to the whole museum, the whole university and the whole society, and strive to be the teacher of benevolence!
