Luan Yongyu, Chair of the University Council

Secretary Luan Yongyu, Han, from Xiangcheng City, Henan Province, born in August 1962, is a Member of CPC, a researcher and a dotoral supervisor.
Secretary Luan graduated with a bachelor degree in Engineering from Department of Mechanical Engineering in Hunan University in 1984, and he was granted a Master degree in Management Science and Engineering in 1999。
From 1996 to 1997, Secretary Luan was in Japan to work as a visiting scholar. He was granted a doctoral degree in International Trade from Hunan University.
Secretary Luan was appointed as Vice-President of Hunan University in July, 2005 and Deputy Party Secretary of Hunan University in March, 2008.
From November, 2012, Secretary Luan began to work as Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Hunan University.
Secretary Luan was appointed as Party Secretary of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in June, 2017.

Yang Canming, President

He, born in April 1963, is ethnic Han from Taojiang, Hunan Province. A member of CPC, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor
Graduated from Hubei Institute of Finance and Economics with a major in public finance in 1983; Obtained his postgraduate degree at Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major in public finance in 1986; Held the degree of Doctor of Economics at Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major in business economics; Listed in the first national “New Century Talents Project” and enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council; Served as vice-president and a standing member of the University Council of ZUEL in August 2005; Has served as president and a standing member of the University Council of ZUEL since January, 2014.

Wan Qingxiang, Deputy Secretary of CPC Deputy

Secretary Wan, Han, from Jiangling County, Hubei Province, born in November, 1965, is a Member of CPC and a Professor.

Deputy Secretary Wan graduated from Department of Chemistry in the former Jingzhou Normal Junior College and was granted an on-the-job bachelor degree in education  and a master degree in management from China University of Geosciences, Wuhan.From February,1987 to October, 2007, Deputy Secretary Wan worked at Student Affairs Office in China University of Geosciences, Wuhan. He had successively held the posts of the Deputy Director, Director of the Admission Office, Deputy Director, and Director of Student Affairs Office. From July,2007 to October, 2012, Deputy Secretary Wan played his role as Director of Party Committee Office, Director of President's Office, and  Spokesman of  China University of Geosciences, Wuhan.From July, 2012 to October, 2017, he served as Member of the Standing Committee of CPC and Vice Presodent of China University of Geosciences, Wuhan. In October,2017, Deputy Secretary Wan was appointed as Deputy Secretary of CPC and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

Wang Wengui, vice-Chair of the University Council

He, born in May 1963, is ethnic Han from Jingshan, Hubei Province. A member of CPC, Researcher

Graduated from Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major in Economics, and held the Bachelor degree of Economics and worked there; Finished his postgraduate study at Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major in ethics, and held a degree of Master of Philosophy in July 1999; Held the degree of Doctor of Economics at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law with a major in Western Economics in July 2006; Has served as vice-President and a standing member of the University Council of ZUEL since October 2012; Has served as vice-Chair of the University Council of ZUEL since June 2014.

Wang Jianhong, Chief Financial Officer CFO

He, born in September 1968, is ethnic Han from Tuanfeng, Hubei Province. A member of CPC

Obtained his degree of Bachelor at Renmin University of China with a major in agricultural economics and his degree of Master of Management at Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major in agricultural economics; Served as a clerk, vice-director at agricultural office of Hubei Provincial Department of Finance from 1991 to 2000; Served as the Deputy-director and a member of the Standing Committee of CPC of the Department of Finance of Yichang Municipality in 2000; Served as Deputy-Director of Office of Commissioner of Ministry of Finance in Hubei province in 2005. Served as the assistant to the commissioner and a member of the standing Committee of Office of Commissioner of Ministry of Finance in Hubei province in June 2006; Served as a member and a Standing member of the University Council, the Chief Financial Officer of ZUEL.


Yao Li, Vice President

She, born in June 1963, is ethnic Han from Xiangyang, Hubei Province. A member of CPC, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor

Graduated from Department of Law at Hubei Institute of Finance and Economics in 1984; Studied at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in 1986   and Renmin University of China with a major in procedure law in in 2000, and held the degree of Master of Law and Doctor of Law successively; Listed in the “New Century Excellent Talent Project” sponsored by Ministry of Education and the national “New Century Talents Project”, enjoying the special allowance of the State Council and honored as an advanced worker and a woman pacesetter in the national educational system; Has served as Vice-President and a standing member of the University Council of ZUEL.

Chen Ming, Vice-President

He, born in Huangpi, Hubei Province in December 1962, a member of CPC, Researcher

Graduated from Hubei Institute of Finance and Economics with a major in Industrial economics in 1983; had an in-service postgraduate education at Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major in Economics and Management of Agricultural and Forestry in 1998; Successively served as Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Research, director of Party School Office, head of Organization and Personnel Department (the United Front Department), Assistant to President and Deputy-Secretary of Committee of Discipline Inspection, head of Department of Discipline Inspection of ZUEL; Has served as vice-president and a standing member of the University Council of ZUEL in June 2014.

Liu Renshan, Vice-President

He, born in August 1967, is from Qianjiang, Hubei Province. A member of CPC, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor

Graduated from Zhongnan Institute of Politics and Law with a major of economic law in 1989; Finished his postgraduate education at Zhongnan Institute of Politics and Law with a major in international law in 1994; Finished his doctoral education at Wuhan University with a major in international private law; Has received an award sponsored by the “Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation for Young Teachers in the Higher Education Institutions” and listed in the national “New Century Talents Project”, enjoying the special allowance of the State Council; Recruited as a member of Teaching Guiding Committee for Law of Ministry of Education; Successively served as Deputy Dean of Department of International Economic Law at Zhongnan Institute of Politics and Law, Deputy Dean, Dean of Department of International Economic Law, Deputy Dean, Dean of School of Law, Head of Department of Teaching Work and Director of Undergraduate Teaching Assessment Center, Executive Deputy Dean of Wenlan School of Business. Now serves as Vice-President and a standing member of the University Council of ZUEL.

Zou Jinwen, Vice-President

He, born in December 1964, is from Yiyang, Hunan Province. A member of the Revolutionary Committee of The Chinese Kuomintang, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor

Graduated from the School of History at Central China Normal University with a major in history in 1987; Finished his postgraduate education from the School of History at Central China Normal University with a major in modern Chinese history in 1990; Finished his doctoral education at Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a major of political economy in 1999; From 2001 to 2003, he was engaged in post-doctoral research for Postdoctoral Program of theoretical Economics at Wuhan University; Successively served as Deputy Dean of Economics School, Vice-Director, Director of the Discipline Construction Office,dean  and  head of the Department of Development and Plan, Dean of Economics School. He also enjoys the special allowance award by the State Council; From 2005 to 2006, he served as a deputy district chief of Dongxihu District of Wuhan City; Now serves as the Vice-President of ZUEL.
