News report On Nov. 1, the 2018-2022 inaugural meeting of the Higher Education Teaching Advisory Commission of the Ministry of Education of PRC was held in Beijing. Nearly 2,000 well-known nationwide experts and scholars from various universities and professional fields participated in this meeting.
The President and Professor of ZUEL Yang Canming, the Vice-president and Professor of ZUEL Liu Renshan, the Professor of ZUEL Yang Zonghui and the deputy head of the Higher Education Teaching Advisory Commission and Professor of ZUEL Hu Xiangyang attended this meeting, who respectively on behalf of the finance discipline, the law discipline, the public security discipline and the public security technology discipline.
The Higher Education Teaching Advisory Commission of the Ministry of Education of PRC in 2018-2022 contains 2 comprehensive categories, 109 professional categories and 40 branches. It is reported that the new term Commission has finally selected 5,550 members after a strict examination, including 111 Heads and 710 Deputy Heads, of whom 3,611 are new members, accounting for two-thirds of the total number of members (four professors in ZUEL are old members). With the concentration of the most authoritative experts in higher education, the new Commission will become an elite group to comprehensively revitalize undergraduate education, and to undertake responsibilities of the research, consultation, guidance, evaluation and service in higher education teaching. It will hold the key to promote the reform of higher education and guarantee the development of Chinese undergraduate education.
