News Network (Reporter Lai Siyuan) On August 17th, 2017, the official website of National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the appraisal results of the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. Reviewed by the appointed experts of National Natural Science Foundation of China, among 105 applications of our university in 2017, 29 research projects got project approvals, including 10 general projects and 19 youth projects, with a total fund of 8,792,000 yuan. The projects got approvals covered 4 science divisions including Mathematical and Physical Science Division with 3 projects, Earth Science Division with 1 project, Information Science Division with 5 projects and Management Science Division with 20 projects. In 2017, the rate of approval was 27.6%. There was a 3% increase in the rate of approval, 16% in the amount of approval and 59.3% in the total funds of 2017, all of which set new records in the history.
