News Network (Reporter Lai Siyuan) on 17th August, the official website of National Natural Science Foundation published the evaluation results of application projects of NNSF in 2016. After the evaluation of experts by NNSF, 23 of the total declared 101 programs have been approved. Among these 23 programs, there are 4 general programs and 19 young scholar programs supported by National Science Fund which involve with four departments of science (one more compared with last year), two departments of mathematical and physical science, one department of earth science, two departments of information science, and eighteen departments of management science. The number of approved programs is equal to that of last year with a total program funding of 5.31 million.
